New Elbow CD

With the strange state of the music industry these days I feel like it's our responsibility to turn each other on to new music. Elbow just released their 4th CD. Every one is incredible. The new one's called "The Seldom Seen Kid". It's dedicated to a friend of theirs that died recently. I love it that real music is still out there. Check it out!!!!!

Just got it. Haven't listened to it in depth yet. After writing "The Leaders Of The Free World" they have won my everlasting affection. And you know my affections are particularly enduring even under less nourishing circumstances.

ill have to check them out; have you listened to the Liquid Tension Experiment? it's a Tony Levin and Dream Theater offshoot, pretty cool. Rico

I almost like Dream Theater. The musicians are good but I just can't get past the falsetto vocals. I'll check out Liquid Tension!

Saw Dream Theater live in '99. Bassist played a Stick and was very good. They opened for a bunch of guitar gods like Steve Vai. I hate that kind of thing.

It's an amazing album - I got it during my exams and couldn't stop listening to it. Best thing is, Elbow came from my town, Bury near Manchester England. One of my friends' brothers was in the band before they got a record deal.
